Imre Laszlóczki
Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board (Hungary)In charge of Strategy and Policy. Responsible for strategic planning and implementation of the priority goals of the Bank’s development, for cooperation with international and national financial development institutions, with their unions and associations, and for cooperation with the public entities of member states, as well as of third countries.
Mr Laszlóczki was born on September 26, 1961, in Paks, Hungary. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (1987).
A career diplomat, Mr. Laszlóczki occupied various senior positions in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 1987 until recently. During various stages of his career, he headed the Human Resources department of the Ministry, was responsible for accession of Hungary to the Schengen area on behalf of MFA, for relations with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. As an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, represented Hungary in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan. Served in diplomatic missions in Italy, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Portugal and Russia.
