Leading Specialist / Head of Financial Institutions Division of Debt Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Department

We evaluate qualified applicants with different seniority levels and hire either a specialist or a head of division.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interaction with financial institutions, making initial analysis of financial institutions to estimate prospective of the relationship;
  • Managing the KYC procedures and compliance checks in the Bank;
  • Coordinating the bond issuance process and initiating steps related to fund raising through instruments, like bilateral, syndication, related financing etc., maintaining the issued securities;
  • Coordinating and monitoring of the payments of the interest and principal amounts on the outstanding debt instruments in the market;
  • Holding meetings with investors, counterparts – financial institutions, presenting products of IIB

Job requirements:
Education:

  • Higher education with university degree in finance and/or banking services;
  • Certification in AML/CFT is an advantage.

Work experience:

  • Work experience in the field of correspondent relations, relationship with financial institutions at least 3 years (specialist), at least five years (head of division);
  • Managerial working experience in the related function at least 1 year (head of division);
  • Work experience in attracting funding on debt capital markets, issuance and maintenance of securities, disclosure of information by issuers of securities at least 2 years;
  • Work experience in international organizations, central banks and/or international banks and/or development banks and/or commercial banks;
  • Business contact base among international financial institutions, including IIB member states – preferred.

Knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • Knowledge of international practices in the field of correspondent banking relations, treasury operations, financial and capital markets;
  • Familiar with EU legislation;
  • Knowledge of cooperation with financial institutions (FIs) and Export Credit Agencies (ECAs);
  • Knowledge of KYC practices and compliance checks in international financial institutions;
  • Skilled in structuring of bank-to-bank transactions, execution of agreements (Money Market, REPO, ISDA/CSA, GMRA, etc.), syndications, and opening and closing of correspondent and other (Nostro, Security) accounts;
  • Advanced PC user, MS Office;
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to establish connection within the Bank and with clients;
  • Fluent level of English is necessary;
  • Proficiency in Hungarian and/or Russian is an advantage.
