International Investment Bank extended a loan to JSC «Spurt» in the amount of EUR 15 million, with a loan term of five years. The purpose of the loan is financing innovative, modern and energy-efficient projects of small and medium business.

JSC"Spurt" — is a universal, regional and commercial bank, the shareholders of which are the largest enterprises of the gas and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Tatarstan and also the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The cooperation with JSC"Spurt" corresponds to the strategy of IIB on the enlargement of the interstate geography of operations. The"entrance" of the Bank to the Republic of Tatarstan, which is one of the leading and most economically developed regions of the country — shows that the IIB has the potential to become an accelerator of the investments in the Russian economy and contribute to the national regional integration in the international economic relations.

The financing of the innovative energy-efficient projects is one of the targets of the IIB as a modern multilateral institution for development which reflects the ecological aspect in the activities of the Bank, in particular, and the general social direction of the financing of the significant infrastructure projects.
