The Chairman of the Board of the International Investment Bank Nikolay Kosov and Chairman of the Board of Belvnesheconombank Pavel Kallaour signed an agreement on cooperation between the two Banks.

The agreement implies establishment of long-term partnership relations, aimed at the promotion of economic cooperation between Belarus and member states of IIB.

The Banks agreed on joint lending for investment projects, extending loans to support small and medium-sized businesses, support of export of goods and services, participation in projects, implemented on the principles of public-private partnership, cooperation on the monetary and financial markets.

Pavel Kallaour noted, that for Belvnesheconombank «a partnership with IIB is important not only from the point of view of financial results, but also in terms of expanding business geography, entering new markets and the support of Belarusian export on those markets.»

Nikolay Kosov emphasized, that there is a sustained interest in the IIB’s member states for cooperation with Belarus and that the Bank has already got a portfolio of interesting projects for joint work.

The Heads of IIB and Belvnesheconombank decided to start practical work on implementing the agreement in the nearest future.
