The delegation of International Investment Bank visited the Republic of Belorussia. IIB’s senior management continued to hold a series of meetings with colleagues from Belvneshekonombank, one of the largest national financial institutions.

The results of the IIB’s re-launch were discussed in detail and also Belorussian colleagues were informed about the Bank’s plans for the near-term and midterm prospects. Besides this, approaches to using joint possibilities in the IIB’s realization of the mission in member states, the support of foreign trade ties and other aspects of developing partnership relations between the two banks were discussed.

Taking into consideration that Belarussian business has interest in almost every market of the IIB’s member states, including active cooperation with countries of Western and Central Europe and also taking into account the favorable geographical location of Belorussia, the cooperation between the two banks can be realized into concrete projects in the foreseeable future. The parties have agreed to activate the consultations for selection and implementation of these projects.
