At the end of December the International Investment Bank welcomed the senior managers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. The Moscow office of the Bank was visited by the State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigoriy Karasin; Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Head of the Russian delegation in the IIB’s Council Sergey Storchak; Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Deputy Head of the Russian delegation in the IIB’s Council Alexander Gorban. Such an authoritative list of guests is explained by the desire of the Heads of MFA and MF to support the management of the IIB in their efforts to restructure the Bank.

At the meeting the Chairman of the Board of the IIB Nikolay Kosov informed his guests on the implementation of the renewed strategy of the Bank’s development, as well as on the first results of the work which started in the Autumn of the year 2012 on the IIB development and its transformation into a modern international financial institution. The senior managers of the MFA and the MF appreciated the work done by the bank in the year 2012 and promised support on behalf of the Russian Federation in further development of the Bank.
