The Chairman of the Board of the International Investment Bank, Nikolay Kosov, has been honoured by a high-level state decoration of the Russian Federation — the Order of Friendship. The corresponding decree was signed by the Russian President on October 10, 2015.

«Peace and Friendship» — a noble inscription on the reverse of the Order conveys its serene aura. These two words, at the same time deep in their meaning and so close to all of us, also reflect the essence of IIB’s mission as a genuinely international institution, whose operations aim to, ultimately, foster constructive cooperation between nations of IIB’s member countries and to promote their prosperity.

We consider this high-level award as a sign of confidence towards the Bank and its Chairman, under whose guidance the IIB — having experienced both ups and downs in its 45 years of history — rapidly transformed into a modern and reliable multilateral financial institution, acting in the name of international well-being and sustainable development of all its member states.
