The delegation of the International Investment Bank (IIB), headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Board, Denis Ivanov, participated in the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Along with other multilateral development banks, since 2015 the IIB has been traditionally invited to the EBRD event as a special guest, which corresponds to the status of Observer at other multilaterals.

The EBRD marks this year 25 years since its inception, therefore, the main theme of the AM and Business Forum was “Influencing Change – The Next 25 Years”. Keynote speeches and discussions of the participants focused on the issues of economic development and sustainable growth in the EBRD region, environmental protection, the creation of ecologically friendly technologies and equal opportunities.

During the EBRD's events, IIB representatives held a series of meetings and talks with the executives of the world's leading banking groups and multilateral development banks. Parties have discussed the implementation of joint projects, as well as options for cooperation in the areas of syndicated project finance, trade finance, treasury operations and debt capital markets.

Overall, the meetings demonstrated high awareness of the international business community about the IIB’s updated product offer and services, as well as the readiness of the Bank’s partners to support promising projects and to develop new forms of cooperation.
