Meeting in Helsinki
IB continues to strengthen relations with the leading international banks for development. The Delegation of the Bank headed by deputy Chairman of the Board Denis Ivanov visited headquarters of the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) in Helsinki, where it was received by the President of the bank Henrik Normann and had meetings with its top-managers.
During the negotiations managers of the two Banks shared opinions and experience concerning such spheres as loan transactions, legal aspects of activities of international financial institutions, risk management. NIB’s representatives also shared information on the system of selection criteria of the projects regarding their impact on the environment.
The Delegation of the International Investment Bank informed their colleagues on the changes happening in the Bank within the frame of implementation of the renewed development strategy, achievements and priorities for the nearest future.
Head of the Nordic Investment Bank expressed support to the IIB’s plans, having emphasized the importance of the IIB’s focus on the development of SMEs, taking into consideration the demand for such activities in today financial and economical conditions.
At the end of the meeting the parties decided to maintain business contacts and set out a range of concrete areas of cooperation.
