Meeting of the MIFC Joint Liaison Group
The Chairman of the Board of the International Investment Bank Nikolay Kosov took part in the 5-th meeting of the MIFC Joint Liaison Group. IIB’s Head is Deputy Co-Chairman of the Group.
The meeting took place in Moscow in the head office of the State corporation «Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)». The British party of the Group was headed by the Lord Mayor of the City of London Roger Gifford, and the Russian party — by the Head of MIFC Taskforce Alexander Voloshin.
At the meeting the participants discussed sizable progress in such directions as the development of the financial infrastructure and legislative regulation of financial markets. Among relevant spheres of the Group’s activities were named such aspects as the usage of public-private partnership mechanisms, development of the derivative financial tools, improvement of the administrative regulations procedures, education and evaluation of the market participants.
During the discussion the role of the International Investment Bank was mentioned as a prospective platform for the realization of MIFS projects. IIB’s Head presented a whole range of ideas on the practical use of the Bank’s status and its potential to make Moscow more attractive as a financial center.
IIB’s Chairman of the Board Denis Ivanov also took part in the meeting of the MIFC Joint Liaison Group.
