IIB participated in the annual meeting of “Ethics Network of Multilateral Organizations”
International Investment Bank always gives special attention to the issues of strict adherence to corporate ethics and standards of good conduct both by the Bank employees and representatives of IIB partners and counterparties.
To reduce potential risks of misconduct and unfair practices, IIB has developed and applied the Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud and Corruption Policy and the Code of Ethics, new editions of which were recently approved by the Board of Directors in 2019.
In order to increase levels of knowledge and improve competencies in the area of high standards of behavior, IIB representatives attended the tenth annual meeting of “Ethics Network of Multilateral Organizations”, which took place on July 9-11 in Munich (Germany). European Patent Organization hosted the event.
Ethics officers of 37 international organizations, including UN network agencies, intergovernmental entities and international development banks, took part in this important event.
Participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the implementation of ethical norms and rules in the ongoing activities of multilateral development institutions, promotion of ethical behavior culture, routes of improving the level of transparency and efficiency of corporate governance.
IIB plans to continue following and applying the experience of leading international organizations in its daily activities to ensure high ethical standards.
