The article «International investment bank: tasks of the further development» by Mr. Demchigjav Molomjamts the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the International investment bank was published in the current issue of the magazine «Money and credit».

The article highlights the history of the Bank from its foundation in 1970, emphasing the multilateral and international nature of its activities. The author presents the main transformations of the Bank into a modern development bank in accordance with the strategy for 2013−2017 in view of financial statements, credit and investment activities, necessity of the full-scale realization of the IIB’s potential and the interests of each country member of the Bank.

«Money and credit» is a theoretical, research and practice monthly magazine, one of the oldest bank editions. Central Bank of the Russian Federation is the founder of the magazine since 1992.

Mr. Demchigjav Molomjamts graduated from the Irkutsk Institute of the National Economy where he specialized in finance and credit. He holds a PhD in economics. Mr. Molomjamts held offices as Minister of Finance, Minister and Head of the Governmental Office, President of the Central Bank of Mongolia, he was the Member of the Board of International Bank for Economic Cooperation. Since January 2012 he has held office as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the International investment bank.
